I love to use fabric envelopes for so many things --- gifting little things, cash gifts, gift cards, handwritten notes and sometimes just to carry a lip balm and phone in!
 
The outside of the fabric wallet is constructed of cotton fabric and the the inside of the envelope is lined with a matching cotton fabric.
